Course Description:


 French Immersion 7 – Summer is designed as an intensive and engaging program to help students strengthen their French language skills in a shorter time frame. Through interactive lessons, hands-on projects, and cultural activities, students will practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French while gaining confidence in everyday communication.

The summer format emphasizes active learning — conversations, role-plays, games, and creative writing — making the experience both educational and fun. Students will also explore Francophone culture through music, films, and traditions, connecting language to real-life contexts.


Learning Goals:

  • Review and reinforce core vocabulary and grammar.

Students will engage in collaborative projects, discussions, and presentations to strengthen oral communication, while written assignments will focus on building clarity, creativity, and accuracy. A strong emphasis is placed on critical thinking, problem-solving, and developing confidence in using French across subject areas.

The program combines academic learning with creative, seasonal projects that make French practical, interactive, and enjoyable.

Students will practice all four core skills — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — while exploring themes connected to spring, such as nature, environment, community, and cultural celebrations in Francophone regions.
