Introduction to Modern Macroeconomics


Introduction to Modern Macroeconomics is a foundational course within the Economic Certification at Bouyela Education Corporation. This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the overall economy, exploring key macroeconomic concepts and their applications in today’s global economic environment.


In this course, students will:

  • Understand the principles of national income, GDP, and economic growth.

  • Explore aggregate demand, aggregate supply, and price levels in the economy.

  • Analyze the role of monetary and fiscal policy in influencing economic activity.

  • Examine unemployment, inflation, and international trade in modern economies.

  • Develop analytical skills to interpret macroeconomic indicators and trends and their impact on business and policy.

  • Economic Research Assistant – assist in collecting and analyzing macroeconomic data

  • Policy/Financial Analyst Support – support departments using macroeconomic insights for decision-making

Duration & Schedule Options:

  • Part-time: 9 weeks, 1 session per week – $400

  • Full-time (accelerated): 5 weeks, 2 sessions per week – $800
