Labor Relations


Labor Relations is a core course within the Human Resources Certification at Bouyela Education Corporation. This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to manage relationships between employers, employees, and unions, ensuring compliance, collaboration, and workplace harmony.

In this course, students will:

  • Understand the legal framework and regulatory environment governing labor relations.

  • Explore collective bargaining, union-management negotiations, and grievance handling.

  • Learn strategies for conflict resolution, dispute management, and maintaining positive employee relations.

  • Examine the role of HR in promoting fair labor practices and compliance.

  • Apply labor relations principles to real-world organizational scenarios to ensure effective workforce management.


📌 Prerequisites / Recommended Prior Knowledge:

  • Completion of La gestion des ressources humaines en entreprise or Relever les défis de la gestion des ressources humaines (recommended)

  • Basic understanding of HR principles and workplace operations


📌 Possible Entry-Level Positions Within Bouyela Education Corporation After Completion:

  • Labor Relations Assistant / HR Coordinator – support union relations and grievance processes

  • HR Assistant – assist in compliance, employee relations, and workplace negotiations

  • Employee Relations Support – help manage conflict resolution and policy enforcement

  • HR Administrative Support – maintain labor relations records and documentation

  • In-person assessment and evaluation conducted at the campus


⏱ Duration & Schedule Options:

  • Part-time: 9 weeks, 1 session per week – $400

  • Full-time (accelerated): 5 weeks, 2 sessions per week – $800

  • High school, college, and university students

  • Entry-level HR staff or anyone preparing for a career in labor relations

  • Applicants may be required to complete preparatory courses in math or English if additional support is needed
