Occupational Health and Safety Management 


Occupational Health and Safety Management is a core course within the Human Resources Certification at Bouyela Education Corporation. This course equips students with the knowledge and skills to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace, protecting employees while supporting organizational objectives.

In this course, students will:

  • Understand the legal and regulatory framework for workplace health and safety.

  • Learn to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive measures.

  • Explore health and safety programs, policies, and compliance strategies.

  • Develop skills in accident investigation, emergency preparedness, and employee training.

  • Apply health and safety management principles to real-world workplace scenarios, ensuring safety and compliance.


📌 Prerequisites / Recommended Prior Knowledge:

  • Completion of La gestion des ressources humaines en entreprise or Relever les défis de la gestion des ressources humaines (recommended)

  • Basic understanding of HR operations and workplace practices


📌 Possible Entry-Level Positions Within Bouyela Education Corporation After Completion:

  • Health and Safety Coordinator / HR Assistant – support workplace safety initiatives and compliance

  • Occupational Safety Assistant – assist with hazard assessments and preventive programs

  • HR Administrative Support – maintain health and safety records and documentation

  • Employee Safety Support – help implement training and safety awareness programs

  • In-person assessment and evaluation conducted at the campus


⏱ Duration & Schedule Options:

  • Part-time: 9 weeks, 1 session per week – $400

  • Full-time (accelerated): 5 weeks, 2 sessions per week – $800

  • Applicants may be required to complete preparatory courses in math or English if additional support is needed
